Golang Job: Golang Backend Engineer

We are working with a Barcelona-based start-up who are building an on-demand shuttle service. Aimed at rural and suburban areas in Spain, they are on a mission to massively reduce any wasted CO2 emissions that are emitted by vehicles travelling empty handed and unnecessarily. Think of all the buses and taxis who drive from A to B without anyone in them? Then think what if one vehicle was re-routed to cater to multiple passengers travelling to a common destination, only when it’s needed?

What to expect:
The company are currently at just over 20 people, with the Tech team standing at 10. You will join at a time that is pivotal in their growth, since they have just been acquired by a global leader as a means of gaining a bigger presence within Europe. The Tech team, once built, will consist of 6 cross-functional product development teams focusing on parts of the product that include controller, passenger and driver experience. Automation is a must, given they will be working with realtime APIs at optimal speed.

Requirements:
3+ years experience working as a Backend Engineer
Knowledge of Golang or other similar languages
Exposure to working in cross-functional teams
Ambition to build distributed systems
